What is TRE?

Dr David Berceli designed a simple and safe SELF-HEALING technique that helps your body release stress and tension that has accumulated from day-to-day life experiences, immediate or prolonged stressful situations, or even traumatic life experiences, such as surgery, illness, divorce, death in the family, accidents, violence, abuse, and natural disasters.

  • A few simple, easy-to-follow exercises evoke a natural shaking mechanism in the muscles.
  • The shaking reverberates throughout the entire body traveling along the spine outwards releasing deep chronic tension up the back and down the legs and arms.
  • Releasing tension in the muscles, relaxes the anxiety of our minds and returns us to a balanced state.
  • If allowed uninterrupted this vibration will continue until chemical, hormonal and muscular build-up has been discharged – thereby returning the autonomic nervous system to homeostasis or balance.
  • By reducing stress and tension levels within the body healing occurs on many different levels – emotionally, physically, mentally and spiritually.

TRE made a difference in my life at a time when making a change meant the most. 1. Learn the techniques with a certified TRE facilitator via SKYPE or other video conferencing.

2. Become familiar with how the body responds to this process.

3. Requires a wall or chair, floor mat and relaxed fit clothes.

4. Once the techniques are learned and self regulation is demonstrated TRE can be done without a facilitator.
